Families trying to support orphaned grandchildren, nieces and nephews cannot afford £20 a year for each child. In 2003 Dayspring was able to help by giving grants to 17 children and in 2004, 20 children received full sponsorship.

Frank, Emmanuel, Susan & Dorothy These 4 children are being brought up by elderly grandparents. Pastor Sue arranged for someone to plough their field and Dayspring provided some seed and some maize as they had no food. The children try so hard at school. They come to school in the morning then they have to go home and either do field work or housework or both! (in all this they are very cheerful with a good sense of humour!) They are working hard to catch up with reading.

finances

A little goes a long way:
£5 sponsors a child's education for a year
£20 pays a teacher's salary for a month
£35 pays the fees for one module at Bible School
£50 pays for the materials for a long drop toilet
£60 pays for one term at teacher training college

What your money is NOT being spent on:
No money is being spent on administration and web design and maintenance. These are done free of charge by volunteers. All the money donated to Dayspring Christian Ministries goes directly to support the work in Zambia.

If you would like to give:
